At The Daily Scoop we have started the new theme for the month of March in anticipation of the event we’ve been all waiting for – The Wodonga Carnivale – this year the theme is Bizarre! Children from schools around Wodonga are preparing great exhibition of art in the High Grove park under the Water Tower, which you can already see as part of Todos Arte project run by Art Space and Wodonga City Council.
One of the entertainers will be Jugularity
There will be heaps of entertainment, starting with the Lounging into Carnivale with performance by Nicky Bomba who has already staged a gig at Lounging last year. Street parade will start on Saturday 7 March at 4PM, and festivities will continue late into the night with many well known entertainers within the Wodonga CBD. The Daily Scoop is proud to have right outside their door the stage of “Strange on Stanley” with performers including Jugularity, Psycho Zydeco and JUST! Come along and have some fun
There will of course be “Carnivale Recovery” on the following morning with many local food outlets helping you with great coffee during the whole day. If you decide to hang around for the rest of the long weekend, there will be plenty to do still on Monday 9 March 2009!
